CAT MBA Entrance Best Reference Books and Study Materials Common Admission Test (CAT) The CAT 2012 will have only two sections. The first section is Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation; the second section is Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning. These two sections will be implemented sequentially with separate time limits. The examination will be 140 minutes. Candidates will have 70 minutes to answer 30 questions within each section which will have an on-screen countdown timer. Within the 70 min provided for the section, candidates can review the answers. Dear friend I am providing you the list of some college/univ offering masters in biotechnology stream below. You can get the details of admission procedure by visiting the college/univ website. Almost every college/univ. take candidates on the basis of GRE scores. So, You will have to take GRE (Graduate Record Examination) and then you can apply to the collges. Apart from that if your grades are very good (9/10) or you are college topper and you apply directly to the professor of the stream and then you have the chances of getting direct calls for masters and PhD. But GRE test would be convinient option.

The candidates must have cleared higher secondary exam with minimum 50% marks
in in or equivalent/Inter (Agriculture) with specific subject grouping like
PCM and PCB. Only 40% marks in aggregate is needed for the SC, ST and PH categories.
Candidate who has supplementary papers in plus two examinations is not eligible for
the same. Candidates who are going to write final examination can also take the entrance
test. Candidates above 17 years of age but not more than 23 years are only eligible to apply.
How to Apply?
The forms will be available by payment OF Rs 400/- from Registrars of Agricultural Universities. It is also obtained from the specified branches of Syndicate Bank and from five ICAR Institutions by payment through DD of Rs 450 /- from last week of December to mid of February .Candidates can also download the form from the official website of ICAR which is http://www.icar.org.in .
