Job or Vacancy Description:
To strengthen its IT division, the Election Commission of India requires services of Computer Programmers, on Contract basis, for a period of one year.
Computer Programmers : 03 posts, To write code for .NET frame work on Oracle/SQL Server for various Software designed for ECI., Compensation: Rs. 32000/- pm (Fixed). No other allowance shall be payable., Age Limit: 30 years
Minimum Qualification & Experience: B.Tech.(IT) / B.Tech.(CS) / MCA or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution with one experience in the related field. Should have good knowledge of (a) Programming languages including ASP, VB, .NET, C# etc. (b) .NET Programming in Visual Studio (c) SQL (SQL Server/Oracle)
Walk-In-Interview : Mode of Selection: All interested candidates may attend a Walk-In Interview at 9:00 AM of 24/02/2013 at NP Girls Senior Secondary School, Gole Market, New Delhi (near RML Hospital) with an application in a plain paper along with copies of certificates. Candidates fulfilling above said qualifications will have to appear in written test of one hour. An interview of shortlisted candidates will be held. Final selection will be done on the basis of interview.
General Instructions:
1. Whereas, the schedules for the General Elections to the Legislative Assemblies ofTripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland and bye-elections to fill 9 casual vacancies
2. And whereas, as per the provisions of Section 126A of the RP Act, 1951, there shall be restrictions on conduct of any exit poll and publication and dissemination of result of such exit poll during such period, as may be notified b
3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers under sub-Section(1) of section 126A of the RP Act, 1951, the Election Commission having regard to the provisions of sub-Section
4. It is further clarified that under Section 126(1)(b) of the RP Act, 1951, displaying any election matter including results of any opinion poll or any other poll survey,
5. The Commission’s Order dated 19th November, 2012 may be got published in the state Gazette immediately. This Order may be given wide publicity through print/electronic media for information of the general public and electors.
6. Whereas, Section 61 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 provides that with a view to preventing impersonation of electors, so as to make the right of genuine
7. Whereas, Rules 49H (3) and 49K (2) (b) of the Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, stipulate that where the electors of a constituency have been supplied
8. Whereas, a combined and harmonious reading of the aforesaid provisions of the said Act and the Rules, makes it clear that although the right to vote arises by the existence
9. Whereas, the Commission has taken note of the fact that over the last few years since the implementation of the programme of issue of EPIC was taken up, the election machinery of Gujarat,
10. Whereas, the Commission has introduced distribution of ‘Authenticated Photo Voters Slip’ to the electors in Gujarat.
